All it takes is a moment of faith, a challenge by evil, and a person with the right gift. The odds are against it, but the number of people in the world challenges those odds. Alexis is one of those people who manage to beat the odds, and at age of 12 she was able to catalyze a small silver cross into object of power that managed put down a monster. Forever changed by that night, Alexis never takes the cross off despite a changing faith and keeps a small collection of other catalyzed objects. Sometimes she fights evil. Most of the time she tries to survive day-to-day life with what she knows while trying to find out more about others like her.
